HEY THERE, I‘M
Amy
About Me
I am a High School Special Education Teacher from Down Under Australia. I have a Graduate Diploma in Autism, a Diploma in Secondary Education, a Bachelor Degree in Visual Arts and a Diploma in Fine Arts.
I understand the pressures that are associated with being an amazing Special Education teacher. My hope is that my resources can help make your life a little easier. I am always here to connect, and I would love to hear from you!
Our Mission
My mission is to provide all students with an educationally challenging, yet fun experience that develops skills essential in becoming independent adults and life-long learners.
I love sharing about functional life skills, vocational skills, transitional resources and visually creative secondary Special Education ideas, to help students develop independent living skills in school and in a post school setting.
By personally being a very visual person, I understand how many of my students are visual leaners and love creating age appropriate visual resources for their individual learning needs.
The Drive
There is nothing I enjoy more than realizing that I am making a difference in students lives, whether directly or via my work online. Teaching is my passion and I love to positively make learning accessible, fun and engaging.
I know the feeling that you get when you know you have had an impact, and I know what it is like to want to keep making that impact.
